LP:671402 - Plugin status variables cannot distinguish SHOW GLOBAL STATUS from SHOW SESSION STATUS

          Description

          In the plugin API, there is no way for a plugin to distinguish between SHOW
          GLOBAL STATUS and SHOW SESSION STATUS.

          This makes it impossible for a plugin to implement status variables with
          different values between these two.
