can't install mariadb server 10.0.15-1 with OpenSUSE "Tumbleweed" / "Factory" ...

      Description

      can't install mariadb server 10.0.15-1 with OpenSUSE "Tumbleweed" / "Factory" ...

      I've added a conflicts text file Maybe i should report this bug at opensuse bug report, but still want to report it in hope it gets fixed...

              I would say that conflict is right - you probably want to deinstall MariaDB from the distribution. The integration problem and why it wants to uninstall part of KDE is that in openSUSE server part is called "mysql" and from what I see CentOS server packages don't provide those. Just my guess

              Maybe the openSUSE developers/maintainers should upgrade to new version and fix dependencies to make it work for openSUSE Tumbleweed/Factory ...

              Well, we are speaking here about CentOS package from MariaDB website, right? Nothing openSUSE developers can do about that one. Might be worth providing mysql symbol, but could also lead to some problems on CentOS. Just a little clarification - I'm not affiliated with MariaDB folks, I just saw the comment on openSUSE G+ and wanted to provide more feedback. And 10.0.15 is being build for various openSUSE versions in server:database repository on OBS as we speak
