Slave crashes on attempt to do parallel replication from an older master

Description

  • start master, e.g. MariaDB 5.5 or MySQL 5.6;

  • start 10.0 slave with --slave-perallel-threads=N

  • run CHANGE MASTER on the slave;

  • execute an event on master;

  • observe the crash
