CREATE TABLE t1 (a INT) PARTITION BY HASH(a) PARTITIONS 2;

CREATE TABLE t2 (b INT);
INSERT INTO t2 VALUES (1),(2);

UPDATE t1 SET a = 7 WHERE a = ( SELECT b FROM t2 ) ORDER BY a LIMIT 6;

          On some reason, it does not fail on 5.3, but fails on 5.1, 5.2, 5.5 and 10.0 (and on all current branches of MySQL).
