Fast index creation doesn't update statistics

    Details

      Description

Adding an index to innodb table using "fast index creation" doesn't properly update statistics for this index (every index part gets cardinality around 200 for table with > 1000 rows).

              Upstream bug http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=62516.
Reproducible on all MariaDB 5.x and on MySQL 5.5 (I disagree with the last comment by Laurynas Biveinis in the MySQL bug report, it seems reproducible just fine to me).
Not reproducible on MySQL 5.6.10 and MariaDB 10.0.7, apparently the WLs that Marko Mäkelä mentioned were merged all right into 10.0 tree.

In my opinion that change is too big for GA versions.
