          Description

          This is a feature request to ask that you expose Information about Metadata Locks (MDL).

          There is an existing MySQL feature request for this here:

          http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=69527

          It was just filed a week ago, and it is a feature request, so there is no ETA that I'm aware of.

          To be complete, I thought I would file the request here too, in case it is something that can be addressed in MariaDB before it is included in MySQL.
