start mysqld

          Description

          can you please assist me here.

          i have run this command ./scripts/mysql_install_db

          and now i want to start mysqld and list databases

                Otherwise, please do some internet search for "MySQL for beginners". You might also consider taking a training or reading a book about MySQL basics.
                MySQL with all its versions has probably the biggest community in the world, among databases anyway, and there is a huge amount of information out there. MariaDB is a drop-in replacement for MySQL, so there is nothing specific at running MariaDB comparing to MySQL, pretty much anything you find will apply to MariaDB too.
