      Description

When loading packages using yum the generated file path is incorrect. The filenames are MariaDB-5.5.28a-fedora16-<blablabal>. The erroneous file path must come from data in the yum repository.

As shown in the Work Log, I've been unable to duplicate this issue. Please check that the /etc/yum.repos.d/MariaDB.repo file matches what is generated by the repository configurator at https://downloads.mariadb.org/mariadb/repositories/

If it matches, all that should need to be done is 'sudo yum update' and then 'sudo yum install MariaDB-client MariaDB-server'.

            Thanks.

"Tested on a fedora17 machine and I was unable to duplicate. "

The problem is in the yum repository for Fedora 16
I have only checked the amd64 branch, but possibly the problem exists also in the i686 branch.

            Cheers,
            /Nils

Did you also see that I tested on a fedora16 machine? I was also unable to duplicate the error there.

Sorry - I thought I did test to clean the yum cache before reporting it.

A "yum clean all" later the error disappeared.
