This does not look like a MariaDB bug.
The error message indicates a problem with a file on the local computer, seemingly originating from gb.archive.ubuntu.com. This server has no MariaDB packages AFAIK.
It is possible that this error occured while attempting to install MariaDB (though the report does not say so explicitly), however the real problem seems unrelated to MariaDB.
